Collision Repair Technology
9th - 12th
My name is Doyle Nelson and I have taught at the Etowah County Career Technical Center in Attalla, AL for the past 24 years. My wife and I are member's at Belcher United Methodist  Church.   My work experience began in 1977 at Crown Dodge as a painter and shop manager and continued there through 1986. In 1987, I began working for Pierson Chevrolet as the body shop manager and in 1989, came to work here at the Career Technical Center. My certification for being a highly qualified instructor comes from Auburn University where I took the necessary technical courses to better serve students on their learning of Collision Repair Technology. I enjoy repairing cars and seeing the finished product of hard work and determination and hopefully instill these qualities in my students. I thoroughly enjoy passing the skills for collision repair and necessary shop management knowledge on to students in order for them to become productive members of society.
