Hello, my name is Tina Phillips.  I have been married to Tim Phillips for 28 years and have 2 sons, John and Logan.  We have lived in Southside for the last 19 years.  We are active members of Southside Baptist Church.  I enjoy working outdoors, cooking and yard sales.

I began my teaching career at Duck Springs Elementary school as a special education teacher. After three years I transferred to Sardis High school where I taught special education English for ten years.  I have been working at the Etowah County Career Technical Center for the past seventeen years. First as the Special Populations Coordinator and then three years ago I became the instructor for the Project Discovery greenhouse working with special needs students with a federally approved greenhouse program.  When I started working with the greenhouse program, I took the Etowah County Master Gardener Course and am now a certified Master Gardener.
