Hello and welcome to our school website. I hope you find it informative and useful in keeping up with the daily events at The Career Technical Center. The Etowah County Career and Technical Center offers ten programs at our center and all of our high schools offer Business, Agri-Science, and Family and Consumer Science. There are many great opportunities for the students of Etowah County Schools at the Career Technical Center and I encourage you to look at our website and research some of our programs and the opportunities that we offer or come by and look at our facility and programs first hand. As for me, I am a graduate of West End High (class of 82). I have a bachelors degree in Social Science from Jacksonville State University and a masters degree in administration from the University of Alabama. I began my career in education in 1992 in Etowah County Schools. I am married to Connie Harmon Stancil, she is the principal at Ivalee Elementary School and we have three children, Payne, Addie Lee, and Evan. We reside in Boxtel, Alabama which is a suburb of Altoona.
