Pruitt, Jarod

Hello, my name is Jarod Pruitt.  I have been happily married to my wife Pam since 1996, and we have one son, Jeremy.  We are currently living in Jacksonville, Alabama.
I graduated from Hokes Bluff High School in 1986 and afterward began attending college at Gadsden State Community College.  I then continued my college education at Jacksonville State University and graduated from JSU in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics.  In 1996 I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Alabama.
I have been a math teacher in the Etowah County school system since January 1992.  My teaching career began at Hokes Bluff Middle School, where I taught 8th grade math.  In August 1993 I began teaching math at the Career Technical Center, where I taught Shop Math, Algebra 1, and Geometry for 10 1/2 years.  In January 2004 Etowah County started a high school program at the Gadsden Job Corps Center called PASE High School, where I became the math teacher for another 10 1/2 years.  In August 2014 I had the opportunity to return home to the Career Technical Center, where I am currently teaching Geometry and Algebraic Connections.
