Overview
Electronics Technology & Robotics
The Electronics Technology & Robotics program provides students with hands-on training in electronics, electrical systems, industrial controls, automation, and robotics. Students develop skills through classroom instruction and real-world laboratory activities using industry-standard equipment and technology.
Students begin by building a foundation in DC and AC electricity, electronic components, circuits, test equipment, and electrical safety. As they progress through the program, students have opportunities to work with motor controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial robotics, troubleshooting systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
Students may also earn college credit through Dual Enrollment and work toward industry-recognized certifications while still in high school. The program prepares students for careers in industrial maintenance, electrical and electronics technology, automation, robotics, mechatronics, and advanced manufacturing, as well as continued education at the college level.

Through our partnership with Gadsden State Community College, eligible students have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
